For Vertical Bar in Caddebostan, Studio Blai and Piknik Works co-created a custom light fixture made from 100% recycled plastic—specifically, old Efes beer crates. The result is a glowing, hexagonal sculpture that makes waste beautifully visible.Translucent Texture, Geometric FormThe half-transparent, hexagonal cylinder form allows the plastic’s natural grain to interact with light, producing a warm, distinctive glow. No extra coatings, no compromise.
Guests encounter a lighting object that is both aesthetic and informative—a beacon of how recycled design fits seamlessly into hospitality spaces.
♻️ 30 kg of plastic waste repurposed
🌍 40 kg of CO₂ emissions prevented
💡 555 kWh of energy saved — enough for 6 months of LED light
A small object, a big statement. This fixture tells a story about reuse, atmosphere, and design’s role in cultural change.
